Success at IFTD New Orleans

After a 9 hour drive yesterday, Shannon Drawe and I arrived back to the scorching heat of Texas. I heard a lot of talk about how New Orleans was hot, but the truth is that Texas is even worse. We watched the temperature gauge start at 79? and end at 104? when we arrived back in Dallas. Disgusting!

Overall the IFTD show for Twintail Clothing was incredible. I met so many great folks from around the country and everyone seemed to enjoy what I had on display. It was also great hearing all the compliments on the booth I put together. It took a lot of hard work so I really appreciate all the kind words!

Now I’ve got my work cut out for me as I need to follow up with everyone and get orders placed. I’ve got the shirts coming soon as well and can’t wait to see them. In addition to orders I’m going to be updating this website, my catalog, and product photos so please stay tuned! As I told everyone at the show, I will constantly be releasing new designs that will be available for order. When a new design is released I will inform everyone that has subscribed to my email list. The IFTD Trade Show is quickly approaching and we are in full gear getting ready for our booth setup. I will be driving down on August 17 to set up the booth and get ready for the fun. Throughout the show I will be meeting with potential dealers and taking orders. For the show only, we will be offering discounts to those that submit their order by August 20th (end of the show). I’m super excited to finally see a global response to all of our products, including the new ones that will be on display.

Although Twintail has been in business for nearly two years now, we have primarily stayed local. We are considering this show to be our official launch, as we reach out to the rest of the country and the world. For those that will be at the show, please shoot me an email if you’re interested in carrying our product – I’ll send you our dealer packet so you can get started. For individuals that are interested in purchasing items, we will have all of our inventory on hand by no later than December 20th. I’m looking forward to the upcoming year and thanks to all of you in advance for your support.

Clay Williams from New Orleans had a great trip down at the Palometa Club in Ascension Bay, Mexico. Not only did he catch a great Permit, but he’s sporting a Get Some Tail hat! Way to go Clay!

Shirts are coming this Spring!

We are pushing out the first Twintail shirts this Spring. Due to the popularity of the Get Some Tail line, I decided to release these retro style GST shirts. They will be available in Permit, Redfish, Tarpon, Roosterfish, and Bonefish. I’m still in debate to push a brown and rainbow trout out, but it’s looking like I will. Can’t wait to see the finished product! All these designs will be printed on the very comfortable organic pieces by Econscious.

Twintail Heads to Mexico

We started the year off right by testing the waters of Ascension Bay, Mexico. David Leake, Brent Boone, and Bryan Carter all went down to chase after permit. They arrived with high hopes as Tailwaters Fly Fishing Co. has just formed a new relationship with the Palometa Club (without a doubt, the top permit lodge in Mexico). Needless to say, they succeeded. 3 permit were landed and we got plenty of great photos thanks to David and Bryan.
